Still Woozy | Atlanta
Live from Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, GA, Still Woozy is in full swing of his Loveseat world tour. Sven Gamsky, professionally known as Still Woozy, is a California native who has made his way for his infectious tracks and heartfelt lyrics. Accompanied by pop group MICHELLE, this show was one to remember.
The six-piece indie-pop collective (comprised of Sofia D’Angelo [vocals/guitar], Julian Kaufman [keys], Charlie Kilgore [bass], Layla Ku [vocals], Emma Lee [vocals], and Jamee Lockard [vocals]) brought an incredible combination of funky dance moves and harmonies to the stage. Enticing the crowd with popular tracks like, “Sunrise,” “Pulse” and “Syncopate,” it’s evident that this collective knows how to have fun.
After their set, the buzz for Still Woozy was palpable. Cartoon-like flowers are set upon the stage, as well as other set decorations and the audience can’t contain their excitement. The lights drop and fans are cheering as the guitar intro to Woozy’s second album Again rings out. Jumping and bouncing around stage, pumping his fist, and waving to the crowd, Still Woozy is on the stage and giving the crowd exactly what they’ve been waiting for. With lyrics like, “This can't be happening / I must be daydreaming / Again, again!” You can hear Still Woozy fans sing back every word and cheer throughout each moment.
“Window,” an infamous single released in 2020, has the crowd cheering and screaming back the lyrics. Performances of “Get By,” “All Your Life,” and “S**t Don’t Change,” has the energy in the venue at its peak. Ears are ringing and hands are in the air as each song progresses and weaves into the next. Accompanied by his acoustic guitar, Woozy’s no stranger to being a performer. Sitting at the piano, Woozy begins playing “Baby,” the 10th track on his Loveseat album. As fans are chanting and clapping back to the love song, Woozy switches up the vibe and performs “Lemon,” a popular track from his latest album.
With performances of “Lucy,” a 2018 classic that still hits, you can tell that Still Woozy has spent time crafting this setlist to cater to his fans. “Forwards,” “That’s Life,” and “Rocky,” follow, each song bringing a different set of cheers to the room. The show continues with some notable mentions like, “Anyone But You,” Cooks,” and “Run It Back.” Woozy finds himself in the crowd during his “Run It Back” performance; with hands in the air and screams all around, Woozy makes his way back on stage to show his appreciation for those at his show and who’ve supported his music.
The show winds down with “Shotput,” “Habit,” and “WTF.” Fans are screaming for an encore. Not more than 90 seconds later, the lights are swirling and the lyrics, “Oh, what they think about you,” are ringing out through the Roxy venue. The crowd pushes in closer for the final song of the show, “Goodie Bag,” notably Woozy’s most famous song. Released in 2017, “Goodie Bag” has everyone singing along and trying to harmonize with one another.

The Aces | Atlanta
Your favorite band is on tour, and we had the pleasure of getting to see them in action! Comprised of four members: sisters Alisa Ramirez (drums) and Cristal Ramirez (lead vocals and guitar), Katie Henderson (guitar) and McKenna Petty (bass) are rocking the roof off of Variety Playhouse. A fan favorite venue in Atlanta, The Aces are giving us exactly what we need. The alternative pop band from Provo, UT is showing their fans that they’re entering a new era and it’s one for the books.
The Aces’ logo appears, projected above the drum set, and fans are already going crazy. “Hope it doesn’t get worse as I get older,” the opening rhythm to “Always Get This Way” rings out and the audience is roaring. The first track of the show has bodies moving and hands in the air. With a performance of “Don’t Freak” shortly after, it’s evident that The Aces is prepared for a jam-packed show.
“Atlanta, how are you feeling?” Cristal Ramirez greets the venue. “I need you to sing along with me!” “Solo,” from their latest album I’ve Loved You For So Long has everyone in the mood to rock out for the night. “Atlanta welcome to the I’ve Loved You For So Long Tour!” Ramirez yells into the microphone and the crowd erupts in applause.
After a killer performance of “My Phone is Trying to Kill Me,” Ramirez heads to the front of the stage to get personal with the crowd. “It feels so good to be back. Thanks for having us, it’s been a long time. How you guys doing?” A brief pause for woo’s and cheers. A brief moment of technical difficulties leads Ramirez to passing the mic to Henderson for a good ‘ol fashioned dad joke. “What do you call a cow with no legs?” Henderson asks. (It’s ground beef, if you were wondering.)
After two cow jokes, and body signing by the band, the band is back in full swing with “Kelly” and “Girls Make Me Wanna Die.” The venue is buzzing. The concert air is full of joy and fans screaming the lyrics. The show weaves through some classics, like “Suburban Blues” and “Attention.” Ramirez, moved by the energy in the venue, gets candid with the crowd. Getting honest about the birth of this record, Ramirez admits to being anxious and depressed. “And, it’s this band and you guys that get me out of bed every day.”
With just a few songs left in the show, Ramirez warns the crowd that the show is nearing its end, and everyone boos. Why would we ever want this night to end? “Volcanic Love” from the band’s debut album When My Heart Felt Volcanic catapults the show into a frenzy one more time. With stellar performances of “Daydream” and “Stuck,” the I’ve Loved You For So Long Tour officially ends for Atlanta.
If you’re like us and can’t get enough of The Aces, you can find them on Instagram (@TheAces) so you can stay up to date on new music, merch, tour, and more! Don’t forget to stream I’ve Loved You For So Long wherever you stream music. The Aces are still coursing through the States with Carol Ades, so be sure to catch them live while you still can. Their last show of the North American tour is October 28th at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA!

Paramore | Atlanta
Live on Thursday in Atlanta… it’s Paramore! After a long-awaited return, 10 years to be exact, our favorite band from childhood is back and ready to rage. At the State Farm Arena in the heart of the city, the “Misery Business” team is back for more with a sold-out show. Opening the show with a performance of “You First,” Hayley Williams is full of energy and high kicks as she struts across the ornately decorated stage.
A natural born performer, Hayley Williams is ready to give her all tonight in Atlanta. Hearts are soaring and voices are rising higher as the band continues with performances of “The News,” “That’s What You Get,” and “Playing God.” Songs that have been out for over a decade, Paramore is bringing nostalgia back to life. “Atlanta is that you?” Williams calls out to the crowd. “You might as well be home,” she begins. “We love coming to Atlanta. We love it, it feels wholesome.” After saying their thank you’s, “Caught in The Middle” from the band’s fifth studio album, After Laughter, ricochets through.
Paramore performs “Rose-Colored Boy,” another banger from their fifth album. Accompanied by “Running Out of Time,” and “Decode,” fans are on a time machine to some of their best Paramore moments. As a surprise to most Paramore fans, Williams sings out the first line to “Last Hope,” where the room illuminates with the crowd’s flashlights. Soon after, the room is crooning to “Big Man, Little Dignity,” and “Liar,” a live production for the ages.
For “Liar,” the band shifts to a backstage, where they stand and sit on a platform suspended against the backdrop from the “This Is Why” music video. The silhouettes of the band capture your eye as they shift to Williams’s song, “Crystal Clear.” The song, from her solo project (Petals for Armor), has the room screaming and clapping for more. The three-and-a-half-minute song rings out, and the band finds their way back to the main stage.
“Okay, let’s go see some of your talent.” Williams cocks a hand on her hip, looking around the room. Showcasing her vocal range and making the night feel like a warm welcome, Williams twirls and kicks around to “Told You So.” With an outro ode to Tina Turner, the show continues with “The Only Exception.” A wall of sparklers erupt from the background as the chorus rings out for the last time. “Can we have Zac Farro to the front of the stage?” With a performance of “Baby” from Farro, a member of HalfNoise, the retro vibes are here and they’re exceeding expectations. Edited snippets of Williams, Taylor York, and Farro pan across the screens in the arena, as fans are shouting for more.
“I’ve talked a lot tonight,” Williams laughed. “The fact that we get to come and play show to as diverse of a crowd as you are. It’s a joy and privilege, thank you for being here tonight.” The crowd bursts at the seams with joy, rooting for the three band members who shaped the way we view music. With an iconic performance of “Ain’t It Fun,” the band files off the stage and a short film begins to play. Featuring photos and behind the scenes footage of the last few years, Atlanta is screaming and crying for more Paramore. “Paramore! Paramore! Paramore!” Is shouted from the depths of the arena, and our favorite 5’2” vocalist is taking center stage again.
“Did you miss us? Because we missed you!” Williams shouts as the intro to “Still into You” begins to pulsate. Ending the show with “This Is Why,” I can’t help but say: I’m glad I left the house. Atlanta was just the steppingstone to Paramore’s North American tour. With support from Genesis Owusu and Bloc Party, you can expect not to have any hard times at a Paramore show.
Grab your tickets now while you still can and follow Paramore (@paramore) on Instagram to stay up to date on the band’s next move. Don’t forget to stream their latest album, This Is Why, which is available where you get your music.

Maggie Rogers | Atlanta
Live in Atlanta, it’s Maggie Rogers with support from Del Water Gap! The 28-year-old praised singer-songwriter is unleashing her Feral Joy tour for two back-to-back nights at the Eastern. A Maryland-native, Rogers began her career after her song “Alaska” played for multi-Grammy Award winner Pharrell Williams during a class at New York University. Since then, Rogers has claimed her rightful place as a coveted icon in the industry. With songs like, “Dog Years,” “Light On,” and “Want Want,” Rogers is giving fans what they want with a night of feral joy.
The show begins with Rogers’ band filing on stage as recorded opener of the singer plays through the venue. Fans are roaring as the notes to “Overdrive” begin. The first track off Rogers’ latest studio album, Surrender, Maggie Rogers fans are having their cake and eating it too. The music icon is wearing a football jersey-inspired dress with knee-high boots as she floats across the stage. The show is buzzing as “Want Want,” another fan favorite from her latest body of work, entices everyone to put their hands in the air. “Hello, Atlanta,” Rogers greets her second sold out show. An ear-splitting roar shakes the room, as everyone graciously welcomes Rogers.
Rogers highlights some important moments of the show already. Her bass player’s parents were in attendance, whilst they just celebrated her guitarists’ birthday, too. She closes, “There’s just a lot of things to be grateful for,” before playing her next track. A hidden gem from her debut studio album, “Say It,” pulses through the room note by note. With performances of “Love You for a Long Time,” “Shatter,” and “Be Cool,” Rogers is giving her fanbase moments to live off for a lifetime.
Rogers surprised fans with a performance of “New Song” with Del Water Gap. The 6-minute track featured on her compilation album, Notes from the Archive: Recordings 2011–2016, the two artists reminded us of what a stellar collaboration looks like. With an alternative/indie performance of the night, each minute of “New Song” rings out across the audience.
“I was walking through icy streams that took my breath away,” Rogers sings out to a deafening silent room. Not soon after, the Eastern is singing along at full volume, causing the songwriter to erupt into a fit of laughter. After regaining her composure, she begins again: “I was walking through icy streams that took my breath away.” Rogers sings the first verse of her one of most popular tracks, causing fits of hysteria and outbursts of joy. “Alaska” begins to weave through the venue, as people are throwing their heads back and singing to the sky.
The moment is over too soon, and before anyone can catch their breath, “Give a Little” chimes out across its crowd. Fans of Rogers’ Heard It in a Past Life are in for a treat with performances from her first studio album. The Heard It in a Past Life train doesn’t stop there as Rogers sings: “Would you believe me now?” “Light On,” courses around each person at the Eastern, and acts as a gentle reminder to us all. “That’s Where I Am” Fans are screaming “Encore, encore!” when the show ends, and the lights come on. The chant pulsates through the venue as Rogers’ band fills the stage once more. The infamous opener to “Fallingwater” whips through the Eastern as Rogers sings out each word. Rogers’ encore ends with a performance of “Different Kind of World,” notably the last track on Surrender.
The Feral Joy tour is one for the books, making it one of Rogers’ best tours to date. Rogers’ tour ends March 5th in San Francisco, CA. If you can get your hands on tickets, we recommend attending one of the best tours of the year. You can find Maggie Rogers on Instagram (@MaggieRogers) to stay up to date on the Feral Joy tour, new music, and much more!
