The Lincoln Theater was transported to another world on May 16, 2017 by the Pixies. The iconic rock band known for their unique sound and surreal lyrics, still sounds as good as they did in 1988 on Surfer Rosa. The show had a great balance of Pixies hits, more obscure tracks, and completely new work. Paz Lenchantin had an extremely similar sound to former bassist and vocalist Kim Deal, and did the band’s original sound justice. The Pixies left the Lincoln Theater, and everyone in the audience, engulfed in their sound.
