KEEP THE COFFINS COMING / FRANK IERO AND THE PATIENCE
Full of passionate vocals and unruly guitar riffs, Frank Iero and the Patience’s new EP, Keep the Coffins Coming has finally been released—deemed the long-awaited missing link between Stomachaches and Parachutes (their debut and sophomore albums, respectively). The EP is weaved with powerful emotion—from the intense I’m a Mess, to the sentimental You Are My Sunshine. Former guitarist and backing vocalist of My Chemical Romance, Frank Iero proves yet again the strength and uniqueness of his independent sound. Created with the help of renowned Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, PJ Harvey), the songs on the recorded EP are perhaps the band’s most unflinching yet. Angsty vocals met with hardcore punk guitar and cacophonous beats permeate throughout. The only thing Keep The Coffins Coming is missing, at least for the diehard fans who’ve been awaiting its release, is more—more songs, more albums, more of Frank Iero and the Patience.
