Natalie Shay’s new music video for “This Feeling” has us all chasing after people and things we long for. The video seemingly consists of two main storylines. One, Natalie playing the song to a crowd, and the other being a boy chasing after butterflies around town. The song progresses to the lyrics of the song, as the boy struggles to catch up to the butterflies. Nearing the end of the video, the boy finally catches up to the butterflies with a twist; they were leading him to the girl he loves, and she happened to be in the crowd of Natalie’s show. The video goes to show the coincidences and desires for love we all experience. It’s a great reminder of our own unconscious efforts to succeed in relationships and go through with our instincts, all rolling into two stories that end up crossing paths.
